Peter Wilson (venture capitalist)

Peter Wilson (born 1967) is a London based venture capitalist.

Wilson was an Open Scholar at Oxford University, and a Baker Scholar at Harvard Business School - the school's top award.

In 2004, Private Equity International magazine named his 1998 management buyout of environmental services firm Safety-Kleen Europe the European mid-market deal of the year, after the business was sold for £280 million to JP Morgan.

Wilson contested Regent's Park and Kensington North as the Conservative Party candidate in the UK 2001 general election, but failed to win the seat from the Labour incubent, Karen Buck MP.
