Peter Thurnham

Peter Giles Thurnham (born 21 August 1938) is a British politician. He was member of Parliament for Bolton North East from 1983 to 1997. He stood for election as a Conservative, but defected to the Liberal Democrats in 1996, in the end months of John Major's government. [1] He did not contest the seat at the 1997 general election.
