Peter Salisbury (born Peter Anthony Salisbury, on 24 September 1971, in Bath, England) is best known as the powerhouse drummer of The Verve, which he joined as a founding member in 1989.

After that band's demise in 1999, Salisbury played with various bands including Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Salisbury now runs and owns a drum shop, Drummin', in Stockport, England. He currently resides in Buxworth, Derbyshire with his wife Pam, sons Ben and Isaac, and step son Joe. He also plays drums on all Richard Ashcroft solo albums.
