Peter Pan Records

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Peter Pan Records was a record label specializing in children's music which existed from the 1950s to the 1970s. The label was owned by the Synthetic Plastics Co. of Newark, New Jersey.

The label was notable for its "Book & Record" series, combining an illustrated storybook with a 45 rpm record that contained music and narration by "your Peter Pan Storyteller" (who, memorably, would prompt the listener to "turn the page" at the sound of a bell).
