Peter Murnik (born 14 December 1965 in Concord, Massachusetts) is an American television actor known for his various roles in television. Such shows include: JAG, Pensacola: Wings of Gold, Martial Law, and ER.

Yet perhaps, his most memorable and reputed for his role as Lt. Martel in Seinfeld. He investigated a murder case in Los Angeles and convicted Kramer as the serial killer, but eventually let him go after a long interrogation that put Kramer in tears.
