Peter Moylan (born December 2, 1978 in Western Australia, Australia) is a pitcher for the Richmond Braves.

Moylan began his career in the Minnesota Twins minor league farm system. After failing to make the Major Leagues, Moylan left the Major League Baseball system. After recovering from major back surgery in 2001 and 2003, Moylan began looking for a delivery that would prevent another back injury. He found a fastball that would end up delivering him to the Majors and prevent him from returning to his job as a pharmaceutical salesman in Australia.

Moylan broke out while playing for the Australian team in the World Baseball Classic. His 96 mph fastball enabled him to make established Major Leaguers Bobby Abreu, Marco Scutaro, Ramon Hernandez and Magglio Ordonez his strikeout victims. Based on his performance in this tournament, Moylan was invited to participate in spring training camp prior to the 2006 season with the Atlanta Braves.

Peter Moylan was signed by the Atlanta Braves and assigned to their AAA Richmond club. On April 11, 2006 Moylan was called up to the Atlanta Braves to replace Joey Devine in the bullpen. On May 4, 2006 Moylan was called up to help with more pitching and Tony Pena, Jr. was sent down; however Moylan was later sent back to the Richmond club.

Moylan features a mid ninety mile per hour fastball and throws sidearm.
