Peter Hartley

Peter John Hartley (born April 18, 1960) is a former England county cricketer.
He was born in Keighley, Yorkshire, and made his debut for Warwickshire in 1982. He returned to Yorkshire in 1985, and stayed there until 1998, when he moved to Hampshire. When he retired at the end of the 2000 season, Hartley was Hampshire's opening bowler.
As of 2006, he is now a Test official, performing TV umpire duties for several of the 2006 Test matches between England and Sri Lanka, and England vs Pakistan. He also umpired his first international match on 28 August 2006, officiating between England and Pakistan in the Twenty20 international tour match.
