Peter Fill

Peter Fill (born November 12, 1982 in Kastelruth, South Tyrol) is an Italian alpine skier.

With 3 years he learned to ski with his first teacher Frieda Senoner. His first races he competed with Frieda's daugther Birgit at the age of 6.
During the years of middle-school he got Peter Thomaseth as his new coach, and he had the first bigger successes.
In 1997/98 he came to the traing-centre Schlerngebiet, where he had his uncle Arnold as coach. In the same year he got part of Southtyrol's B-Pool (coach Sepp Steinwandter). One year later he advanced to the A-Pool of Stephan Feichter.
The first time in the national team was in 2000. His coach was Ernst Pfeifhofer, who was also his coach the following year in the Italian B-Team. At the same time he got member of the Carabinieri-sportsgroup.
In 2002/03 he was part of the A-Team of Flavio Roda & Co for the first time. In the 2006/07 World Cup Season he's in the "Group 1" of headcoach Claudio Ravetto.
