Peter Callanan

Peter Callanan is an Irish politician and member of the 22nd Seanad Éireann for Fianna Fáil.

Born in Clonakility, County Cork, Callanan was educated in Mount Melleray College, County Waterford. Married with six children, he is a farmer at Innishannon, County Cork.

A member of Cork County Council since 1979, Callanan was elected to he 21st Seanad in 1997 by the Agricultural Panel, and re-elected in 2002 to the 22nd Seanad.
