Peter Buck (restaurateur)

Peter Buck is a nuclear physicist and co-founder of the Subway restaurant chain. He loaned Fred DeLuca $1,000 in 1965 to open a sandwich shop to help pay for college. Buck currently lives in Danbury, Connecticut with his son who graduated from Danbury High School in 2004. His wife died in 2003.
