[edit] Biography
Pete began his artistic career amidst Portland, Oregon’s underground hip-hop scene, where he created Ho-Made Media (his record label and design company). In 1992, he assembled Five Fingers Of Funk, his nine-piece live band. The group released two albums on Ho-Made Media and toured the U.S. (performing with musical acts such as Maceo Parker, The Roots and Run D.M.C.).
Pete kicked off his solo career by moving to New York City in 1998. One year later, he joined Arista artist Dido as her live band's DJ for her world tour, where he then appeared on numerous television shows and began work on Radio Free Brooklyn. After returning to New York, his Ho-Made Media label entered into a joint venture with independent music marketing company Coup de Grace for his 2004 album: Camouflage Is Relative.
