Pete Friesen

Born in Canada in 1965, Pete Friesen is a musical legend who has toured the world and recorded with such acts as Alice Cooper, The Almighty and Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson.

Pete first joined Alice Cooper in 1989. His flatmate invited him to attend an audition in which he would mime in a music video. Alice took a strong liking to Pete and soon became his guitarist of choice. Pete played on both the 'Trash' and 'Hey Stoopid' tours, and also appears in the film Wayne's World alongside Alice. Pete left Alice Cooper and his band in 1993.

The Almighty are a rock band from Glasgow in Scotland and formed in 1988. Pete joined the band in 1991, recorded and toured with them until 1996. They disbanded with vocalist Ricky Warwick pursuing a solo career. The classic lineup including Pete reformed in January 2006.

Pete currently teaches at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey, England.
