Pete Elliott

Pete Elliott was the former head football coach at several colleges. Elliott coached at the University of Nebraska, University of California, University of Illinois and University of Miami.
Elliott played at the University of Michigan with this brother Bump. In 1956, he took the head coaching job at Nebraska, lasting one year with a record of 4-6. The next year, he took over at California. He would last until 1959 and compiled a record of 10-21. In 1960, he took over for Ray Eliot at Illinois and would last at the school until 1966. With the Illini, his record was 31-34-1. In 1973, Elliott took over at Miami, where he would last two years and compile an 11-11 record.
