[edit] Yes you can learn Dutch HERE!

Hello,

I am a native speaker of the Dutch language and I just saw your question in the Reference Desk. If you never had to learn another language you might feel a bit awkward at first (here in Flanderswe are forced to be trilingual :| ). Anyway :

[1] is THE PLACE TO BE.

It's got a grammar section explaining the basic rules, it's got a forum where you can ask questions about the grammar and where you can write stuff so others can check it, and there is a "Kwebbelhoekje"="Chat corner" where you can train some more.

One thing you have to know, lots of people will try to make you believe that the textbook is boring and bad and that you have to watch lots of movies and talk a lot. While that is helpful, without a good book you get nowhere.

Good luck!
