[edit] Mental facility

The movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day shows the heroine incarcerated in a mental institution "at Pescadero". As far as I know, no such institution has ever existed. I'm inclined to put in a mention of the movie (it's not as if Pescadero gets mentioned much anywhere, even in such fictional terms) but the movie kinda suggests Pescadero is a handy drive from LA (which, even for a killer robot, really isn't true), so maybe they means some fictional place entirely. Any thoughts? -- John Fader 19:11, 2 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is a connection. Pescadero is quite rural and there is hardly anything there.

Are you certain they aren't talking about "Atascadero"? [1] A state mental hospital is located in that town. Schmiteye 05:06, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
