Talk:Persuasion
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Writing on Wikipedia talk:What it thinks it is (a rather depressing page, I don't suggest anybody reads it), User:KF, in the course of a longer discussion, wrote: "There was a middle-aged academic who, as it turned out, looked at the Persuasion article and changed "most romantic novel" to "most brutal one" to prove her point" [that the Wikipedia wouldn't/couldn't work]. I have therefore changed that word back, but this isn't my area of expertise, and for all I know "brutal" is right (I don't think it is, though). And if the academic in question sees this, I humbly suggest that you grow up. --Camembert
- You may rest your mind on that point: "most romantic" is definitely a better characterisation than "most brutal". May I join you in telling the academic to grow up? —Paul A 06:56, 30 Sep 2003 (UTC)
