- The edits in question were made from IP 80.245.193.114 which resolves to artifex, an Austrian communications (marketing) company. The only edits made by that IP involve promoting one Austrian company via an article (now deleted) and through direct external links to the company's web site. This is an approach often used to drive web traffic and improve page ranking in search engines and is consistent with marketing activity. Wikipedia policy strongly discourages this type of self-interest editing. These types edits are not done for the benefit of the encyclopedia and its readers, but for the presumed benefit of a commercial organization. JonHarder 02:05, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
