[edit] Shakespeare

I have made the following paragraph from material recently added to the article.

[edit] The Arts

It is reported that Peregrine made a small but detailed account of his time at Elsinore, which was distributed among Elizabeth's inner circle. His brother-in-law, Edward de Vere, is one of those proposed as having written all or part of the works normally attributed to Shakespeare. In this connection, Peregrine's stay in Elsinore Castle may have had a bearing on the choice of this setting for the play 'Hamlet, Prince of Denmark'. Peregrine Bertie was also a friend of the famous astronomer Tycho Brahe, reference to whose theories has been identified in Shakespeare.

This would be very interesting information if we could have a satisfactory reference - please. (RJP 11:26, 23 October 2006 (UTC))
