Peruvian Puff Pepper was the 22nd episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on April 9th, 2005, as a part of the early third season.
[edit] Plot synopsis
When Josh enters a salsa making contest, Drake wants to help. Megan sabotages the first salsa Drake and Josh were making with an explosive powder. The salsa explodes on Drake, Josh, and the entire kitchen. They blame Megan for the sabotage, but are unable to convince their parents that Megan is "evil," even though they found some weird technology in her room (monitors that offer views of the whole house, a buzzer that zaps Josh's bottom, etc.) Megan decides that she wants to enter the contest herself. She orders a special pepper that is bound to win her the contest. Drake and Josh steal it, and narrowly win the contest. When they reveal their secret, (the "utilization of the Peruvian puff pepper") they lose their title, as the pepper is outlawed in the United States (it causes kidney problems and/or chapped lips). Megan wins the prize (a big Mitsubishi 45 inch plasma screen TV, spoofed as a "Yatsubishi" Plasma screen TV ) and sarcastically denies that them stealing the pepper, winning, and then losing, was her plan all along.

- Even though Drake mentions the only occasion he has been in Megan's room was one point when she was 5 (she shoved Drake out the window and told Audrey he slipped and fell). However, in the Season 1 episode Grammy, Drake went into Megan's room to unpack Grammy's stuff (off screen). Maybe he forgot.
- If you look closely above Megan's bed while Drake and Josh were stealing her peppers, you will notice the button that hides her equipment was exposed.
- When Josh was remembering the times Megan was mean to him and Drake, the second flashback featured the scene from the season 2 episode Guitar in which Drake's guitar exploded. But Josh did that by accident not Megan.
- Once again not the first apperance of Fudgie but he is on the phone with Megan in one scene. He's first mentioned in "The Drake and Josh Inn".
