Perth Central Area Transit

The Perth Central Area Transit System (Perth CAT), or simply CAT, is a set of three bus routes in the center of Perth, a bus route in Fremantle, and a bus route in Joondalup. Unlike all other Transperth services, all CAT routes are fare-free.

The current fleets that servicing the Perth CAT are including:

The current fleet of natural gas-powered buses was progressively introduced from August 20, 2005, and replaced sixteen Scania-DAB MidCity Series II 0860S.

There are three CAT routes: the Yellow CAT; the Red CAT; and the Blue CAT, these CAT services are operated by Southern Coast Transit.

Blue CAT is between Perth and Northbridge areas, including Barrack Street Jetty and Esplanade Busport. Blue CAT runs as bus route number 1. Blue CAT has 22 stops including:

The Joondalup CAT started operation on January 9, 2006, and is operated by Path Transit. It will run as bus routes 10 (anti-clockwise) and 11 (clockwise). It travels around Joondalup, and will stop at:
