[edit] Supporters
Persija's supporters called themselves the Jakmanias. They are one of Indonesia's most passionate and fanatical supporters. It is unfortunate that they have a slight reputation of being violent. This is evindent in the 2004/2005 Liga Indonesia final against Persipura Jayapura. Persija lost the match 2-3 and the Jakmanias soon turned violent after the match, demonstrating their feelings and venting their anger by ravaging the Bung Karno Stadium.
