PersaCon, originally ChibiCon, is an anime convention started in May of 2003 in the Radisson Inn on Madison Boulevard, Madison, Alabama.[1] Currently it is an annual three-day event held in June in Huntsville, Alabama.[2] PersaCon was the first anime convention to be held in the state of Alabama.[3]

PersaCon began in 2003 as ChibiCon. The inaugural convention was held from May 2-3, and had four guests: Stephanie Celeste, Stephen K Chenault, Johnny Otaku, and Jan Scott-Frazier.[1] PersaCon 2007 will be held at the Bevill Conference Center & Hotel from June 15-17.[4]
