Perry Samuel

Perry Samuel (c. 1866- March 1, 1936), was born on the farm of Doctor Reuben Samuel. Widely believed to have been the illegitimate son of Dr. Reuben by a former slave Zerelda would later state that she adopted Perry, though the 1880 census lists the child as a servant (this may not have been the doing of the Samuel-James family though).
