[edit] Biography

Perros Locos Rap Metal was born in April 2004 after the dissolution of Strewn, a Nu Metal band formed by Juan Manuel Laraia (voice), Emiliano Martinez (guitar) and Fernando Pugelj (drums). The band retained this line up until the departure of Fernando due to difference in musical influence with the rest of the band. David Gispert became the replacement behind the drum kit, having the will to participate in a serious project.

The member's influences came together to form a definite sound. Emiliano contributed with Metal, Juan added Nu Metal and Hip Hop and the addition of German (who was in a Hardcore band) who shared the ideas of Rap and Hip Hop complement David's background. Out of this mix, Perros Locos Rap Metal was born.

The band recorded their first demo in August, 2004, which included 6 original tracks which showed the energy of the band through a raw and powerful sound.

Even though the band did not play many shows, the public's reaction was very good, leading to one of the band's most important dates with Plan 4 on August 7th, 2005 at Buenos Aires' CBGB.

After the success of the first demo, the band decided to make a second one, which was recorded on December, 2005. A musical as well as personal evolution was clear through the new songs which was demonstrated on the sound, musical composition and lyrics.

In January, 200,6 David left the band, paving the way for the addition of Hernan Mainardi who not only took on drumming duties but also brought new ideas and lyrics.

Amongst Perros Locos' next projects was the idea of recording an EP as well as playing throughout Buenos Aires for the whole year together with other bands.
