Perris High School is located at 175 East Nuevo Road in Perris, California. The school was established in 1887 on San Jacinto Street in Downtown Perris, and was permanently moved to its current location in 1961. The campus has became outdated over the years. However in the early 2000s, a $9.1 million dollar addition consisting of a new Technology and Science Building, Parking Lot for students and teachers, and Renu Hope day care was constructed. More plans to rennovate the campus is underway, including a football stadium opening in mid 2007. Most of the staff and administrators have attended the school themselves at one time or another.

The new principal for the 2006-2007 academic year is Mrs. Penny Graham.
[edit] New Rules in Effect
The administration of Perris High School has added many new Rules, and enforcing older ones.
Tardiness Policy in the mornings causes after school detention to students. Students not attending after school detention get Saturday school. Those who don't attend Saturday School Get a 3-day suspension. After several warnings student gets sent to another school from same district.
Electronics Securities in Perris High school are enforcing the Rules on electronics. Students attending Perris High School will not be permitted to use Cell Phones, MP3s and Digital Cameras. Resulting in using them, student will get the item confiscated and only a parent may pick item up.
Theft Perris high school has experienced many Cell phone and Electronics Thefts lately, resulting not from 1 cell phone a week to 1 cell phone lost or stolen a day.
[edit] Winter Formal 2007
Perris High's theme for Winter Formal this year was "A Mid-Winter Nights Dream". Students were to be dressed formally for the ceremony. It was located near the Perris city hall inside the Bob Glass Gymnasium. It took place on January 26, 2007. Brenda Mora and Elias Cedano were the King and Queen for the Winter Formal, and Cassadra Arroyos and Ernesto Ramirez were Princess and Prince. The ASB's 2007 class and 2008's efforts made this years Winter Formal a great success.

Today, February 15, 2007 80% of the Donors that Signed up were Juniors. Meaning that plenty of blood will be given this year thanks for the recent law that 16 year olds may now donate blood with parent consent forms.

Perris High Schools AVID program was recognized for being the best AVID program in the counties of Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles. This is a great step for Perris High School and for the AVID coordinator Mrs. Gardner as well as Mr. Gardner, Mrs. Uhley, and Mr. Schmidt.
During the visit of the "Teacher of the Year" to Perris High School it recognised Perris as being a prestigious school in the County. Not only it is in a underrepresented area compared to Riverside and Murrieta, but as a school that strives for better Education. During the Assembly, it was told that Perris High School in the next year to two years may become into a California Distinguished School. Penny Graham is making all of this happen with her thoughts on the school without a doubt Perris is going on the right track.
