Perri 6 is a noted British social scientist.

He changed his name to Perri 6 in 1983.

He has achieved this ambition many times over, and is currently Professor of Social Policy at Nottingham Trent University's School of Social Sciences [see http://www.ntu.ac.uk/research/school_research/social/staff/16641.html for further detail].

6 worked for the Demos, a left leaning think tank in the 1990s.
