Perpetual Calendars have been in existence for ages and many were developed by many cultures. Some are easy to figure out and some are difficult. The one presented here is an ancient Hindu Perpetual Calendar developed some time 2500 B.C. Hindus used to base their Calendars on the movement of Planets and most importantly on Moon Cycle. Therefore by this Hindus were able to figure out the exect day and time of Lord Rama and Krishna Birth and start of Kali yuga. Traditional belief based on scriptural details and astrological calculations gives Rama birth date as Feb 10, 5010 B.C. and Krishna birth date as July 19th 3228 B.C. On these Astological calculations this Perpetual Calendar was formulated. Hindu Astrologers also rely on creating their Annual Almanac which is named Panchang or Juntri using the exect movements of Planets and Moon.
