"Pero Me Acuerdo De Tí" is the first single from Christina Aguilera's debut Spanish album, Mi Reflejo. Released in 2000, the single did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100 as it was in Spanish, and Latin tracks do not tend to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Of much debate is whether the song is truly the first single of the album, as "Genio Atrapado", "Por Siempre Tú, and Ven Conmigo (Solamente Tú) which are found on the album had been released prior. Nevertheless, those singles are Spanish versions of previous hit singles that were released before Mi Reflejo had been created. The single is most known for being Aguilera's first original (not a Spanish version of an English hit) Latin music single.

[edit] Song information
"Pero Me Acuerdo De Tí" was written and produced by Rudy Perez. In her first original Latin music single (considered by many to be her Latin debut single), Aguilera expresses a calmness of normalcy in her life as she states, "Ahora que ya mi vida se encuentra normal, que tengo en casa quien sueña con verme llegar, ahora puedo decir que me encuentro de pie. Ahora que, me va muy bien." Things seem to be doing alright for her until she suddenly remembers a bad relationship, which severely messed her up, as she explains, "Pero me acuerdo de ti, y otra vez pierdo la calma, pero me acuerdo de ti, y se me desgarra el alma..."
The recording hints at the accent that Aguilera uses is Rioplatense. The yesimo, where both the y and ll sounds are the same, are pronounced as sh.
