Pergine Valsugana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 9 km east of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 17,843 and an area of 54.4 km2.[1]
The municipality of Pergine Valsugana contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Canale, Canezza, Canzolino, Cirè, Costasavina, Madrano, Nogaré, San Cristoforo al Lago, Serso, Susa, Roncogno, Viarago, Vigalzano, Visintainer, and Zivignago.
Pergine Valsugana borders the following municipalities: Baselga di Pinè, Trento, Fornace, Sant'Orsola Terme, Civezzano, Frassilongo, Vignola-Falesina, Novaledo, Levico Terme, Tenna, Vigolo Vattaro, Bosentino, Caldonazzo, and Calceranica al Lago.
