"Perfect" is a song by Simple Plan that deals with the pressures of being the object of parental affection (or lack thereof). Both the song and the video contrast the difficulties of meeting parental expectations and the need to do one's own thing.

In the music video of the single, the band are playing on the roof of a house. Throughout the video, it shows how teens are trying to escape such pressure by letting everything out, and finally realizing that they can't keep their pain in any longer.

"Perfect" became Simple Plan's biggest hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at the #24 position. It is known as Simple Plan's signature song. It was also another top 10 hit in Australia. The song also topped the American Top 40.
