Perdita "Perdy" Hyde-Sinclair (née Hyde) is a fictional character on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. She is played by Georgia Slowe.

Gorgeous Perdita Hyde-Sinclair seems to have it all. Brains, beauty, wealth and a devoted husband in Grayson - what more could a girl ask for?
But in reality, the beautiful brunette is nursing a secret heartache. Perdy's marriage to Grayson might seem like a perfect match but her husband's wandering eye has caused her much pain.
When we first met Perdy, she made a play for gorgeous vet Hari Prasard – only to make her husband jealous. Hari was gutted when he realized that Perdy had been stringing him along but pledged to be a good friend to her.
And Perdy needs all the friends she can get – especially since she's got a formidable enemy in Grayson's meddling mother Rosemary.
For ice-cold Rosemary, the only thing Perdy could contribute that is of any use to the family is a child. But it's the one thing the devastated woman can do. Having suffered multiple miscarriages, Perdy finally came clean to Grayson and was touched when he told her he loved her anyway.
But while Gray may love her, he can't be faithful. Viewers were shocked to discover that the badly-behaved lawyer had enjoyed multiple infidelities with other men. And even his mother was well aware that he wasn't all that attracted to women.
Although she'd soldiered on through problem after problem, when Perdy suspected Grayson was cheating again, she went totally crazy. Getting slaughtered at one of Tom King's parties, she ended up having sex with Matthew King – a move that infuriated her jealous husband.
And Rosemary wasn't all that happy about it either. But there was little she could do. In a bid to establish their independence, Grayson and Perdy had moved out of Oakwell Hall and found their own place.
And upon seeing his wife being bullied by his mother, Grayson swore allegiance to Perdy – defying Rosemary's attempts to stir up trouble between them.
Now firmly rooted in the village, Perdy has struck up friendships with Paul Lambert and Katie Sugden. Her friendship with Matthew is still ongoing, and while Matthew has wanted to take it further, Perdy has remained loyal to Grayson
