Percy Kahn

Percy Kahn (1880 - 1966) - composer and pianist. His most noted composition was his Ave Maria which Enrico Caruso recorded, with the legendary violinist Mischa Elman, and himself at the piano.

Kahn accompanied some of the great musicians of the day, including recordings with Mischa Elman; tenors John McCormack, Richard Tauber, and Beniamino Gigli; and baritones Titta Ruffo and John Brownlee (baritone) (colleague of Nellie Melba).
