Percy Harris (born as Margaret Harris) was a costume designer who together with her sister Sophia and their friend Elizabeth Montgomery formed the a Motley design team. Motley had huge influence amongst British and American theatre in the early 20th century.

The sisters Margaret ("Percy") and Sophie Harris and Elizabeth Montgomery - formed the Motley design team. They made up the strongest influence on British theatre design during the first half of the 20th century. In 1966 Percy Harris created the Motley Theatre Design course that continues to educate new generations of theatre designers in London today. The Theatre Design Course was formerly known as the Sadler's Wells Design Course and the Theatre Design Course of the English National Opera. Throughout these changes of name and place the ideas and training have remained basically the same. In 1994 the Course moved to its current premises in the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
