[edit] Guide to: Pep Rallies

It’s Pep Rally time at Polk, and because he gets to miss all the classes, Ned is dressed up as school mascot, Wolfie, for the day. Cookie is similarly trying to spread the pep, in his new guise of Super Cookie (with an extra long cape, which he’s prone to tripping on), and is going to try and attempt the Slamma-Jamma. This involves leaping from a trampoline 50 foot away from a basketball net, and slam dunking a ball into it! Unfortunately, Moze isn’t as full of pep as the other two, because as captain of the volleyball team, she has to write a speech, and has no clue what to say.

To help Cookie’s Slamma-Jamma, Gordy reveals his Nitro-Tramp 5000, an incredibly powerful trampoline, that when Gordy tests it, sends him flying through the roof. Elsewhere, Moze is having trouble writing her speech, as the other captains are as clueless as her. She later finds out that the reason the Pep Rallies are so unpopular is that they only celebrate the sports teams, and not everyone else. Moze quickly realises that to make the pep rally work, she has to include everyone it. Martin tells Ned that he wrote a booklet called ‘101 Pep Rally Ideas’, which were in fact excellent ideas. However, head cheerleader Missy Meany, thought the ideas were lame (mainly because she wasn’t included in them), so they were discarded.

The Pep Rally arrives, and it doesn’t take long for everyone to get sick of Missy’s cheerleading. Ned quickly solves this problem, by chasing her out of the gym, and locking the door behind her. Next, Moze does her speech, celebrating not just the sports teams, but everyone, including the chess club, maths team, drama club and even the Goth kids! Lastly, is Cookie’s Slamma-Jamma, which he fails pathetically at. He takes a perfect run-up, but trips on his cape when he goes to jump on the Nitro-Tramp 5000, and flies through the sky. Luckily, he lands on Missy, who was entering through a side door, crushing her at impact.

Ned then presents Coach Dirga with Martin’s Pep Rally Ideas, and they’re a huge success. At the end of the short, Cookie attempts the Slamma-Jamma again, this time without the cape. This time, he may not trip, but just like Gordy he goes flying through the school’s roof!

[edit] Guide to: Lunch

Moze’s plan to be Suzie’s new best friends keeps failing, because of Suzie’s constant avoidance of eating lunch with her. Today she has to ‘get a start on homework’. Ned also has problems of his own, when he meets a mystery student who asks for ‘one bite’ of Ned’s ham sandwich. Ned offers it to him, but it turns out that ‘one bite’ is practically the whole thing! It turns out that this individual is One-Bite, who had been devouring food in the second lunch shift, but this year is in theirs. Today’s also the first day of Lisa working on ‘The Lunch Programme’. It’s a programme where underprivileged kids work in the cafeteria with Lunch Lady, and get a lunch in return. Lunch Lady herself, has the ability to tell the future using people’s beans. In Cookie’s beans, to his horror, she sees him getting ‘creamed, mashed, crushed and black eyed’!

When Ned, Moze and Cookie sit at their lunch table for lunch, Moze spots Suzie eating with Missy and co. Wasn’t she meant to be skipping lunch? Later on, Lisa comes up to Suzie, and tries to tell her something that Lunch Lady, but before she gets the chance, Suzie runs off. Cookie is completely paranoid about Lunch Lady’s predictions, and is even more paranoid when he finds out from Ned and Moze that her predictions are almost always right.

The next day, Moze once again tries to eat lunch with Suzie. She sees Suzie in the hall talking in the hall to Lunch Lady, but when Suzie spots her, she mysteriously disappears. At lunch itself, Cookie is still paranoid, and insists on eating his lunch under the lunch table, for ‘maximum security’. Lisa is still working in ‘The Lunch Programme’, and while cleaning Suzie and Missy’s desk (and being made fun off by Missy), Suzie accidentally lets slip a large amount of information about the programme. How does she know it? Ned, at his own table, spots One-Bite approaching. He comes up with a foolproof plan, to eat all the food really quickly, so there’s nothing for him to ‘one bite’. Unfortunately, due to the lunch being tacos, this gives his friends a one-way ticket to the nurses’ station. When Nurse Hunsucker tells him that he was ‘lucky they weren’t too spicy, or he’d never want to eat again’, he forms a plan to stop One-Bite.

That night, Gordy and Ned break into the school at steal large amounts of spices, which he puts into a sandwich, which he plans to offer to One-Bite. The next day, Moze confronts Suzie, and asks her if she’s in ‘The Lunch Programme’. Suzie denies it, but when Moze reveals that she used to be in it, Suzie bares all and admits that she’s meant to be in it, she just didn’t think it would be very cool. Moze tells Suzie that to her, she’d be a lot cooler if she got behind the counter. At lunchtime, Suzie does so, and takes great pleasure in soaking Missy with the hose used to clean trays.

Also, One-Bite takes a bite of Ned’s super-spicy sandwich, and promises never to take one bite of anything ever again. Ned, Moze and Cookie then realise they have no lunch. So, their friends offer them some of their black eyed peas, creamed corn and mashed potatoes with crushed pepper. Cookie realises that he misunderstood the prediction, and takes a relieved bite of the black eyed peas. Unfortunately, some of Ned’s hot sauce was in the beans, and caused Cookie to get burnt and even breathe flames, himself!
