[edit] Middle east claim?
Removed the following sentence: "In Middle Eastern countries the common cause is physical manipulation of the penis to remove an erection." Seems like a stereotype, you might as well write that Arabs "sometimes even cut off a man's penis for looking at a woman's hands". Feel free to re-add when properly sourced with reference to a knowledgeable and reliable source.
[edit] Penile fractures in Middle east
Re-added the sentence. The reference by Eke was moved to the end of this sentence. In his extensive review of the literature he compared the etiology of the injury of all reported cases. The cause of injury was usually intercourse in the wetern hemispherem, and more often due to physical manipulation in the Middle east. Also, I added a reference by Zargooshi from Iran, the largest reported series of penile fractures, most caused by physical manipulation, an act that has a specific name in Iran - "...The commonest cause of fracture was what the patients referred to (in Kurdish) as 'taghaandan' (meaning to click or snap)".(Derwig 15:51, 12 November 2006 (UTC))
