Pentreath
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pentreath is a cove on the West side of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, UK. It lies to the south of the more famous Kynance Cove. Access is via a steep cliff path cut into the serpentine cliffs.
The beach is particularly popular as it is one of the only beaches in the area with regularly surfable waves. It is not an advised location for beginner surfers due to a number of rocky reefs lying beneath the water along the length of the beach, and the strong undercurrents in the area.
