Pentland Group plc is a privately held, global brand management company based in the UK, involved in the sports, outdoor and fashion markets. The group owns the following brands: Speedo, Ellesse, Berghaus, Mitre, Red or Dead, KangaROOS, Boxfresh, One True Saxon, Brasher and Clerk & Teller. The group is the worldwide licensee for Lacoste and Ted Baker footwear.

Pentland Group is the majority owner of John David Sports plc, ("JD Sports") which has 400 retail outlets in the UK. Pentland also has a venture capital division.
