Pentland

Pentland can refer to two physically separated locations in Scotland:
- The Pentland Firth, a strait between Orkney and Caithness in the far north.
- The Pentland Hills, a range just south of Edinburgh in the south east.
It can also refer to:
- Pentland crater, on the Moon
- Joseph Barclay Pentland (1797-1873), Irish geographer, after whom the crater is named.
- Lord Pentland has been the noble title shared by two men.
