Penthouse Paupers

The Penthouse Paupers were a rock band from Melbourne Australia, active from the mid 80's to around 1991. Releases included an eponymous debut EP in 1987 (including Mermaid, Killling Time, Jose and Route 66) followed up in 1989 with the single "Same Place Twice" (B side Snake Charm).
Members included Mick Collopy (Vocals, Guitar), Jeremy Hart (Guitar), Dick Collopy (Drums) and Hamish Hardy (Bass). Early in their live career they were also joined by Ian Collard (Harmonica), and later by Chris Boyce (Piano).
Members are variously active in their respective projects and good copies of their releases are still available as collectors items.
