Penthouse Mouse was the first of thirty-four Tom and Jerry shorts directed by Chuck Jones, released in 1963. In the cartoon, Tom is seen living the high life in a penthouse, while Jerry is seen with an empty stomach looking for food. After colliding with Tom, and following an ensuing chase on a construction site, Tom careers into a dog show. At the cartoon's end, Jerry himself is living the high life in Tom's penthouse.
