Pennsylvania Route 405 is a state highway that runs for 27 miles in north central Pennsylvania, United States. The southern terminus is at Pennsylvania Route 147 in West Chillisquaque Township near Milton. The northern terminus is at U.S. Route 220 in Hughesville. Most of PA 405 runs along the West Branch Susquehanna River.

From 1928 to 1932, PA 405 was assigned to the current alignment of U.S. Route 322 between Phillispburg and Sandy Ridge. In 1930, the route was paved. In 1941, PA 405 was reassigned onto its current alignment. In 1972, the southern terminus was moved from Susquehanna Trail to Chillisquaque.
