Penguinone is an organic compound with the chemical formula C10H14O. Its name is derived from the fact that its two-dimensional structure resembles a penguin. The 'one' (pronounced own) suffix denotes that the molecule is a ketone, containing a double bond between a carbon atom and an oxygen atom. The systematic name of this molecule is: 3,4,4,5-tetramethylcyclohexa-2,5-dienone.
