Penetration (warfare)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A strategic military maneuver much like the Pincer maneuver with a few exceptions. The Penetration Attack goes straight through the enemies flanks, and once through, each flank will turn and attack the opponet's rear, similar to the Blitzkrieg strategy. Alexander the Great once did a penetration attack. Though observers of Alexander the Great said this was quite an accident on account that the penetration attack was conceived many years after Alexander's time.
