Penedono (pron. IPA: [pɨnɨ'donu]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 133.7 km² and a total population of 3,378 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 9 parishes and is located in the district Viseu.
The present mayor is João Manuel Rodrigues Carvalho, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is June 29.
