Pender Harbour, British Columbia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Large, multi inleted bay on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast. Once a steamer stop, and an important logging, and medical waypoint, Pender Harbour has evolved into a pleasant community. With nearby lakes forests, ocean, and mountains it is easy to see why people become attached to it. Once named a Venice of the coast for its indented shore, Pender Harbour has also grown into a cultural capital[citation needed].
