Pemba is a small town located in the Southern Province of Zambia. It is situated on the 'Great South Road' that runs between Lusaka and Livingstone.

Pemba is a small town but it have so many tribal groups. The Tongas are the natives but there are also other tribes such as Lozis from western Zambia, Luvales from Northwerstern Zambia. This is a home town to the popular Pemba High school which used to be the best Boarding school in the country until recently due to a number of riots by students. Pembaer high school though is still known for its academic excellence.
