Pelswick is a 2000 animated television series produced by Nelvana for the Nickelodeon cable channel. It aired in Canada on CBC Television. The series, about a teenage boy who uses a wheelchair, emphasized how he lived a normal life and was based on the books created by John Callahan. Currently, it is no longer airing. FUNimation, a DVD distributor for the United States, considered releasing Pelswick on DVD in 2004, but plans fell through due to a low fan base. It aired on Nick on CBS on September 14, 2002, then ended in November the same year.

- Pelswick Eggert - A 13 year old with a big nose who is in a wheelchair and has a guardian angel. He dislikes people regarding him different because of his disability.
- Ace - Pelswick's friend. Ace is technologically smarter than any of his friends, leading him often to be the thinker of the situation. He is identified to be Asian, indicated by the slanted eyes, which is somewhat amusing, considering the show is about breaking stereotypes, yet this is perhaps one of the biggest in current American society.
- Goon - Pelswick's friend. He is notably stupid being very slow-witted in his actions and thoughts.
- Julie - The girl on whom Pelswick has a crush.
- Sandrah - Julie's best friend and often rival. She is a true diva.
- Mr. Jimmy - Pelswick's guardian angel who often gives him advice that confuses him until the last moment,no matter what it is.
- Quentin - Pelswick's, Kate's, and Bobby's dad.'
- Kate - Pelswick's sister who tries to act beyond her age of 8.
- Bobby - Pelswick's and Kate's little brother.
- Mirlyon - Pelswick's, Kate's, and Bobby's mom who doesn't appear in the series and is thought dead.
- Gram-Gram - Pelswick's, Kate's, and Bobby's grandmother. She often does "extreme" acts beyond that of a grandmother.
- Boyd - The bully of Pelswick's school.
