Pelham Parkway, Bronx

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pelham Parkway is a neighborhood in the Bronx, New York. It is a separate entity from the road of the same name. Pelham Parkway is notable in that it has a sizable Albanian immigrant population; the neighborhood's main streets, White Plains Road and Lydig Avenue, have a very distinct ethnic Albanian flavor.

When speaking of the neighborhood rather than the road, Pelham Parkway is usually a noun - i.e. a neighborhood resident might say "I live in Pelham Parkway" rather than "on Pelham Parkway" or "near Pelham Parkway", though these latter two forms are occasionally used as well.
