Pejman Bazeghi (Persian: پژمان بازغی‎ ) is an Iranian actor. He was was born on 8 October 1974 in Tehran.

Pejman Bazeghi was born in Tehran on 8 October 1974 as the fifth child of a family with family origins going back to Northern Iran and the city of “Lahijan”. During his childhood he moved from city to city and lived in several areas due to his father’s business and practice. When he was 4 years old the Iranian revolution took place and he moved with his parents to the northern part of Iran and the city of “Rasht”. At the onset of Iran’s war with Iraq, his father became one of the guardians of the water borders of Iran and because of this his family moved to the city of “Boushehr”. After the war ended, his family returned to Tehran and Pejman became accepted in the University of Lahijan and moved to that city for continuation of his education in field of Mine Engineering. It was in this city that he became interested in cinema and acting. In the year of 1994 he entered the central youth cinema of Gilan and he acted in his first film named The Confession (Eteraf) directed by Majid Zimkhah. After that Pejman was employed by Friendly Agency (Ajanse Dousty) for period of two years and he worked along side the late Hossein Panahi. After leaving the Agency he acted in other films such as The Young (Javani) directed by Majid Gharizade, and Puberty (Boolough) directed by Masoud Jafari Jozani. Later he joined the Mehrdad group and he acted in TV series such as The Lost (Gomgashteh) directed by Rambod Javan. He also acted with Syrouse Moghadam in other TV series such as The Sea People (Daryaeeha), and in the year of 2001 he joins Ghodratolah Solh Mirzaie in the movie The Girl In The Cage (Dokhtary Dar Gafas). After this he played as a lead actor in the movie The Duel (Duel) with his idol Ahmadreza Darvish and he plays The Friday’s Soldiers (Sarbazhaye Jome). His latest film is called Tara and Strawberry Fever (Tara va Tabe Tootfarangi). Before taking a break he also played in a movie called The Sun’s Shadow (Sayeye Aftab). Most recently he has been taking a break and concentrating on his film coming up in a year called Stop Breathing (Nafaseto Habs Kon).Pejman has a younger brother who has shown great interest in acting as well and has already start in two movies called Moonlight’s Sons (Pesarane Mahtab) and The Naked Night (Shabe Berahneh) directed by Saeed Soheili.
