Pedro Borbón

Pedro Borbón Rodriguez (Born December 2, 1946 in Valverde, Dominican Republic ) is a former pitcher. He played Major League Baseball for 12 seasons (1969 - 1980) for four teams, including 10 seasons for the Cincinnati Reds (1970 - 1979). Borbón was mainly known for being a relief pitcher, pitching 4 and 1/3 scoreless innings during the 1976 National League Championship Series, when the Reds won the series 3-0.

Borbon is currently the pitching coach for the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

Borbón's son, Pedro Borbón, Jr. is also a former MLB pitcher who played in the majors from 1992 to 2003.
